When the third generation family-owned dairy company, Clover Sonoma, rebranded earlier this year there was one important element they didn’t leave behind: humor.

Clover has won over the hearts of locals for its deep Sonoma roots, local sourcing, quality product— and for its clever marketing campaigns. The rebranding aimed to bring a comprehensive feel to Clover’s packaging and represent the 100-year-old company’s more recent sustainability initiatives. When it was announced, Clover assured fans that the fun-loving company mascot, Clo the cow, was not going anywhere, just shifting away slightly from center stage. She appeared later as a master milk sommelier.

In celebration of this iconic Bay Area company and the milk puns that have aMOOsed us for generations, here we present some of our favorite Clover Sonoma billboards through the years.
